Meetings: Arranging meetings, producing agendas, and taking minutes
Travel: Organizing travel arrangements
Requirements
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, is the minimum educational requirement.
Experience : secretaries should have at least two years of clerical experience. Others say construction administrative assistants should have three years of administrative experience and familiarity with the construction industry.
Skills
Secretaries should have strong organizational skills, patience, and a can-do attitude. They should also have basic computer skills, knowledge of specific software programs used within the organization, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
